Anil Kadsur was a cyclist and a fitness trainer hailing from Bangalore. He was 45 years old when he passed away on February 2, 2024, due to a heart attack. He became recognised for pedalling 100 kilometres every day, earning him the title “century cyclist.” He was also referred as Cycle Yogi and Cycle Guru by many. Anil’s passion for cycling began in August 2020, when he participated in a 100-km cycling challenge for ten days. Unlike other cyclists who stopped after receiving their medals, Anil persevered and made 100 km rides his daily routine. He did not let any weather, traffic, or health issues stop him from achieving his goal. He used to start his ride at 4 am and finish it by 8 am, before heading to his work as a fitness trainer.

Anil’s remarkable feat of cycling 100 km every day for over 1000 days earned him a lot of admiration and respect from the cycling community. He surpassed the record of an Italian cyclist by completing 643 century rides. He also completed 42 consecutive months of century rides, totaling 1,250 century rides. He shared his accomplishment on social media on January 31, 2024, but later that night, he complained of discomfort and was admitted to the hospital, where he succumbed to cardiac arrest.
